For this part of the course you need to:

- be able to give an example of a simple skill
- know what a complex skill is
- be able to give an example of a complex skill
- know what the difficulty continuum is (simple / complex skills)
- know what a self-paced skill is
- be able to give an example of a self-paced skill
- know what an externally paced skill is
- be able to give an example of an externally paced skill
- know what the pacing continum is (self-paced / externally paced skills)
- know what an open skill is
- be able to give an example of an open skill
- know what a closed skill is
- be able to give an example of a closed skill
- know what the environmental influences continum is (open / closed skills)
- know what a gross skill is
- be able to give an example of a gross skill
- know what a fine skill is
- be able to give an example of a fine skill
- know what the muscular continum is (gross / fine skills)
- know what a discrete skill is
